The NT Clay Target Association (NTCTA) is the governing body responsible for the sport of clay target shooting in the Territory and is affiliated with the Australian Clay Target Association (ACTA). As a result, a high percentage of our shooters' are from all over Queensland. We shoot most of the Pistol disciplines available, including IPSC and Single Action (Western). Where are we? Head north approximately 3 km from Crows Nest along the New England Highway towards Cooyar/Kingaroy you will see signs Pit Road and Pistol Club. Turn right and travel up Pit Road approximately 2.5 km until you see the large timber sign marked Crows Nest Pistols Club. A range of different shooting disciplines is available at the Gold Coast Clay Target Club and shooters may participate at all levels: * Competition shooting for championship titles & prizes * Socially or for recreation * Simply for fun. The three major clay target shooting disciplines are available at the Gold Coast Clay Target Club. Welcome to the Gold Coast Pistol Club’s Website, the online presence of one of Queensland’s largest and most active Shooting Clubs! We are the only outdoor pistol club on the Gold Coast, and also one of the few Pistol Clubs that shoot ALL of the Pistol disciplines available, from Air Pistol and the various ISSF (Olympic Games) matches through to Service Pistol, Black Powder, Metallic Silhouette, Western Action, IPSC, and Action Match. In addition, we also shoot a limited range of .22 calibre Rifle matches. The Club is officially registered as a shooting range with both the Queensland and NSW Police, so NSW residents may also join as members. The Club is located on two hectares of parkland at 85 Edmund Rice Drive, Southport, where we have been established since 1967. We are open seven days a week, throughout the year, with the exceptions of Good Friday, Christmas Day and prior to 1.00pm on Anzac Day. Gympie Clay Target Club Gun Club Gympie Clay Target Club

The Gympie Clay Target Club Inc. commenced operations at Banks Pocket Road, Gympie in August 1975, and has been at that site ever since then. The club conducts the sport of Clay Target Shooting and Down the Line, an Olympic discipline. The Club has good facilities, including a Clubhouse, three Trap Layouts, toilets and camping facilities. All trap layouts are equipped with Laporte automatic trap machines. Two Layouts have double traps capable of holding 850 targets, and one single trap with 400 targets, plus a single trap as a spare. The Club conducts shoots on the second Sunday of each month, commencing at 10.30am with the exception of the Gold Rush two day shoot conducted in October on the second weekend practise for new shooters is from 1.00pm to 3.00 pm on Saturday before Monthly Shoot on Sunday. From the north on Bruce Highway, turn left into Channon Street (at the Kentucky Fried Chicken facility) and follow to the end. Ipswich & District Rifle Club is located on the 'Stewartdale' Target Sports Complex at Ripley in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia (approximately 40 minutes west of Brisbane and only 40 minutes drive from the Belmont Shooting Complex, the home of the Queensland Rifle Association). Kingaroy Clay Target Club Gun Club Kingaroy Clay Target Club

The Kingaroy club is located approximately two and a half hours from Brisbane, in the South Burnett Region. The club has had an active membership since being established in 1952 and in the clubs 62 year history the club has hosted numerous Zone and State carnivals, and in recent times the 2009 Australasian Police and Services Clay Target Championships. The Club has recently completed a major refurbishment of its five lanes and trap houses which house its well-maintained Canterbury Traps. Paramount is a Brisbane based Small Bore Rifle Club. The club promotes ISSF target rifle disciplines as shot at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. We are dedicated to helping all our members achieve their goals. The Club is seriously commited to the development of junior competitors. We often run introduction shoots for groups such as Girl Guides, Scouts, Cadets and the Venturers. We run a yearly interclub/interstate competition, the Bill Campbell Memorial.
