The Club has been in continuous operation since it was founded in 1962. Club membership is now approaching the 400 mark and our junior membership is growing every year. The Club still has members who joined back in the 1960s and we have many members of over 20 years standing. St Ives Pistol Club members are encouraged to participate in competitions at Club, State, National and International levels. Club members are actively involved in competition shooting with other clubs and our members travel throughout Sydney, NSW, Australia and overseas to compete. Indeed our membership boasts a number of past and present State Champions in various disciplines. We have an excellent induction program and a very experienced team of coaches to help new members get a great start and to get the best out of this great sport of ours. Wagga Wagga City Pistol Club Gun Club Wagga Wagga City Pistol Club

For those wishing to try the sport of pistol shooting for the first time, look no further. The Wagga Wagga City Pistol Club is an established club with experienced members and excellent facilities. It was founded in 1966 and since then has grown to become one of the senior national clubs, playing host to both state and national competitions. The club offers members the option to compete in all five ISSF (Olympic style) matches, Service Pistol and Black Powder. (See Matches for more details). Matches of every type are programmed at least once per month and range space is available for members to shoot unscheduled events or practice components of their shooting to improve skill. New members are welcome to come along to the club (located here) for Saturday afternoon meets. These are held almost every Saturday at 1:30pm (check the Calendar for details). This is a great opportunity to see what the sport can offer you, to talk to experienced shooters and even to have a shot yourself under the supervision of one of our many experienced members. Shoalhaven Clay Target Club (SCTC) was originally formed in 1945 and was known then as the Nowra Gun Club. The club was then located at the Gladioli Farm on the corner of the Princes H/way and Cambewarra Road at Bomaderry. Our first President was Neil Boomer, the Trapper was Doug Vost (the trap "snipe" was hand operated). The annual subscriptions were 15 shillings (about $1.50). The Club operated until 1949. The Club was reformed in 1952 at a new location - Brown's Hill at South Nowra - and then in 1959 was again relocated to the rear of the present Nowra Showgrounds. In 1975 the Club was relocated to the Albatross Naval Air Station and renamed the Albatross Gun Club. SCTC now has 2 DTL layouts, 1 Skeet layout and an extensive Sporting range and a clubhouse with camping facilities available. Canteen lunches are available to purchase at all our shoots. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month, with our major competition for the year being "The Misty Mountain", which is held over 2 days comprising a 75tgt sporting on Saturday with a 30tgt DTL Saturday evening, and a 100tgt Sporting event on the Sunday. Singleton Clay Target Club shoots practice every Wednesday from 10.00am-2.00pm and conducts their monthly competition shoots on the 2nd Sunday of the month at their Warkworth Shooting Complex, 1188 Golden Highway Warkworth. The club boasts an active membership of all ages from sub- juniors through to our senior members. Tamworth & Peel Valley Rifle Club was established in 1896 as military rifle club. Its present location is Loomberah. The TPVRC range is a privately owned property leased by the club committee. The range is a working property and as such is not available at all other times than those set down in the program. The program is subject to change at short notice given the availability of trained staff to run the range in a safe environment. Our program includes competition practice days, competition days and working bees to maintain the range. All Shooters in attendance on a given day are expected to participate in the set activity for the day - All shooters are expected to give a hand putting up targets, marking in the butts, scoring on the mounds and packing up (age limit of 18+ for target duties and all other activities are expected of Junior members upward) Location: From Tamworth, travel south on the New England Highway past Timbumburi Public School and take the next left towards Loomberah. At the Loomberah Hall turn right and follow the dirt road until you see the first farmhouse on the right. Directly after the farm house you will enter a culvert. Turn into the gate on the right, immediately after the culvert. When the range is open a red flag at the gate will indicate that access is possible.
