The Majura Park Gun Club (MPGC) is situated on the Sporting Shooters Association Australia (SSAA) range complex between Mount Majura and Mount Ainslie in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), 10 minutes from the heart of Canberra, Australia’s capital ctiy. The club specialises in competition clay target shooting with a range of facilities including: 4 DTL (Down The Line) traps – Canterbury traps and voice release. 1 Ball trap – Gemini trap. 1 Skeet layout – Gemini trap. 16 Sporting traps including Chondel, Rabbit, Battue and Middi – Bowman trap. A club house with kiosk (food menu, tea and coffee) and licenced bar. Amenities block – toilets and shower facilities with mains power outlets. Powerful lighting towers suitable for competition night shooting. Camping is permitted at the grounds with prior notice and approval (please contact the President or Public Officer) Trap shooting disciplines are utilising wireless voice activated Canterbury traps throwing White Flyer targets. Sporting disciplines are utilising wireless manual controllers (specially designed for Sporting Clays) and Bowman traps throwing a variety of exotic targets, including Rabbits, Battue and Middi.
