Paramount is a Brisbane based Small Bore Rifle Club. The club promotes ISSF target rifle disciplines as shot at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. We are dedicated to helping all our members achieve their goals. The Club is seriously commited to the development of junior competitors. We often run introduction shoots for groups such as Girl Guides, Scouts, Cadets and the Venturers. We run a yearly interclub/interstate competition, the Bill Campbell Memorial. The present committee members have a minimum of 20 years of shooting experience each and are all registered range officers. Paramount has 6 "Club" Level Coaches, and two active competition coaches. The Jim Smith Range has 60 positions for 50 metres, 30 of which are equipped with international standard electronic targets. The range is approved for ISSF 50 metre Rifle and Free Pistol.
