Cessnock Pistol Club

Cessnock Pistol Club provides a safe enviroment for those who choose pistol shooting as a sport. We provide training to new shooters ensuring that they are aware of the responsibility of owning a firearm. Our club has four 25 metre ranges, a 30 position 50m range and a 15 position indoor air pistol range. A new 50 metre range which will incorporate a mover is currently under construction. Members and visitors are able to shoot ISSF matches (50m Pistol, Rapid Fire, Air Pistol, Standard Pistol, Centre Fire and Sport Pistol) as well as Service Pistol, Action Matches, Black Powder and .22 Modified Metallic Silhouette. Members have access to the facilities 7 days a week. Club competitions are held each Saturday afternoon commencing at 1pm. Anyone aged 12 years and over may apply to join Cessnock Pistol Club. However we require anyone under 18 years to be sponsored by a current member of Cessnock Pistol Club whom is over 18 years of age. If you wish to apply for membership you must attend the club in person to submit your application form and undergo a 100 point identity check. Your application must then be approved by NSW firearms registry and at Cassnock Pistol Clubs next Committee meeting. If accepted you must then serve a probationary period during which time you will be instructed in the safe use of firearms.
